[POLL] Average age of sufferers (part 2)

Nearly three out of four ulcerative colitis (UC) sufferers (73 percent) responding to a new nationwide survey say not feeling well has become a normal part of life. Furthermore, they describe UC as disruptive when it comes to their relationship with a spouse (64 percent), their sexual relations (75 percent) and their emotional state (82 percent).
How do you cope with colitis ? Are you struggling with the emotional effects ? Even if a problem shared isn't a problem halved it may help to discuss it with people in the same situation.

[POLL] Average age of sufferers (part 2)

Post by primus58 » Thu Sep 29, 2011 1:24 am

Someone started this post at the beginning of the month, asking for the Average age of sufferers viewtopic.php?f=26&t=5084&start=0

So I thought it would be easier to have a poll... just vote your age

it's certainly interesting to see, thanks for making this a poll. I put 20-29 but this is my last year of 29 and
I'm still waiting for a diagnosis.

Would be interesting to see current age against age when diagnosed/first symptoms sort of thing.

UC free for the first time in 21 years!
Proctocolectomy with ileo anal anastomosis and j pouch formation in one painful surgery....
J Pouch activated April 2014, so far so good...
