Stains on loo seat

Postby lavenderhoney » Sun Jul 25, 2010 6:52 pm

Just wondering do any of you have dark pink splashmarks on the underside of the loo seat? If so, is it because of the meds? and do you know how to get rid of the stains as I have tried everything and am about to buy my third loo seat this year!

Same here. If you don't spot it straight away it seems to stain. We had to change ours too!

Hello Wightgirl, thanks for the reply. I'm guessing now it's not the meds as there would have been lots of replies. I wonder what it is?

I sometimes get some form of staining under the loo seat but assumed it was splashback from rather fast deposits into the loo bowl - pardon the graphic description. I just cleaned off the blood or whatever it was with bleach and now its nice and clean, no stains or smells. I have to do this each day though ... possibly what I am seeing is quite different from yours, so please excluse me if I misunderstood.
Regards
